New Libyan airline

SAS first Airbus A330-300 242 tonne

Scandinavian Airlines is the first European airline to receive the new version of the Airbus A330-300, 242 tonne Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW). SAS has selected Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines to power its new aircraft. This new variant of the A330-300 allows an extended range of up to 6,100 nautical miles while offering up to 2 percent less fuel burn. SAS operates four A330-300 and ordered another three.

American to end flights to Israel

American Airlines announced that it will close its direct flight from Philadelphia to Tel Aviv since January 4,2016. American argued that they losted more than $20 million in the past year alone on the route.

Jet2 orders 27 Boeing 737-800s

British budget airline Jet2.com has finalized an order for 27 Boeing´s 737-800 Next Generation, valued at $2.6 billion at current list prices. Jet2 operates 60 Boeing´s 737-300, 737-800 and 757-200. Deliveries of the 27 new aircraft´s will take place between September 2016 and April 2018.
