China signs deal to buy 130 Airbus

China has signed a $17bn contract to buy 100 A320s and 30 A330s from the European aerospace consortium Airbus. The deal was announced during German Chancellor Angela Merkel visit to Beijing.

Norwegian orders 19 additional 787-9

Norwegian Air Shuttle has signed an agreement to purchase 19 additional Boeing´s 787-9 Dreamliners totaling 30 units on order. Norwegian currently operates 8 B787-8 and by 2020 the airline will operate 38 Dreamliners. The Norwegian´s 787-9 will have 344 seats, 35 in premium class and 309 in economy class.

SOL first CRJ-200ER

Argentine regional airline SOL received its first of six Bombardier CRJ-200ER to replace SAAB 340 fleet. The aircraft is an ex Spanish carrier Air Nostrum (msn 7915) Reg. EC-IVH, manufactured in 2004. SOL will be an Aerolineas Argentinas feeder in domestic routes by mid-October.
